Is this instant booking?
No. CityTask confirms availability within 24–48 hours (max 72) after manual review.
How do payments work?
Agreed price only — no customer platform fee. Deposit secures booking; balance after work is confirmed. Stripe test mode tonight.
Are providers insured?
CityTask does not provide insurance. Providers are independent contractors responsible for damage they cause. We collect provider ID for accountability.
How are providers paid?
80% of agreed job price on one-off jobs (10% platform cut on recurring follow-ups after the first job). Payouts are recorded manually during launch — not instant Stripe Connect yet.
What if the job scope changes?
Admin updates the confirmed price; you must approve before work continues. If the final price is lower, the difference is refunded (Stripe test mode during launch).
